How to Apply

Open registration for the general public and non-church members for the 2024-2025 school year opens on Sunday, January 7 at 2:00 pm.  Our preschool is for children who will be either 2, 3 or 4 years old by September 1, 2024. 3/4’s and PreK classes meet on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday mornings or afternoons from late-August to mid-May.  PreK has an optional Monday add-on day.  2’s meet on Friday mornings.  You can also still enroll your child for the current year as we take new students throughout the year.

A certified copy of a birth certificate is now required by DCFS. If you have any questions, please contact Nancy Bifulco at 630.968.7120 ext. 215 or [email protected].

Age Restrictions

Children in the 2-year-old program must be 2 years of age on or before September 1st of the school year for which they are enrolling.

Children in the 3/4 program must be 3 years of age on or before September 1st of the school year for which they are enrolling.

Children in the PreK program must be 4 years of age on or before September 1st of the school year for which they are enrolling and be eligible for public school kindergarten the following year.

All children in the 3/4 and PreK programs must be toilet-trained.

Physical Examinations/Vaccinations
Your child must have a medical examination not more than 6 months before the starting date of school before he/she may attend preschool. All vaccinations need to be up to date — including chicken pox. Results of lead screening and T.B. test must be included. It is a State law that we have a medical form for each child attending preschool in our files at all times.
Confidentiality
Before any confidential information can be released about a child, the parent must submit a written authorization. This includes information exchanged with doctors, therapists, and other schools and school districts.

Tuition

A $100.00 fee is required when a child is registered for enrollment. This $100.00 fee does not apply toward tuition, nor is it refundable, but does include a tote bag. The tuition schedule is as follows:

Charges are for a 4 week period. Payments are made by direct debit from your bank account on the 18th of each month.  The month of May is charged for a 2 week period.

Since the expenses of the school continue even when a child is absent for an extended period of time, the tuition must be paid. Non-payment of tuition is cause for dismissal of the child. If the family moves from the community, or on the basis of consultation between the parent and the director of the school it seems advisable to withdraw the child, the tuition obligation will cease. Tuition charges for families entering the program after the beginning of the school year will be determined according to the day of entry.

Please feel free to phone the preschool about any questions or issues you might have. The church number is 630-968-7120 x215.
